Farm Fun
Well, the excitement of the holidays is over. You have two choices: stay home and watch old reruns or get out and have some fun. Head to Harrisburg for some FREE fun from Jan. 10 until Jan. 17 at the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show. According to their site it's the largest indoor agriculture event in America. It don't doubt it--wear your comfy walking shoes.

Even non-farmers like me can have a blast at the Farm Show. Believe me, they have something for everyone--you can enjoy animals, food, art, performances, an antique carousel, even rodeo(you'll need to pay a little extra for the rodeo). But watch out! Those lovable animals can be tempting. Only the fact that I was three months pregnant kept me from bringing home a dwarf rabbit one year.

If you want to showcase your talents enter your famous chocolate cake, the "Farm Show's Got Talent" competition, or a host of other contests. By closing day the Farm Show will have awarded thousands of dollars in premiums(prizes). Check out the fun at www.agriculture.state.pa.us/farmshow/site/default.asp
